On 14 September 2026, the planetGOLD Zambia Project held its Third Quarter National Advisory Committee (NAC) Review Meeting to assess progress made during the third quarter and provide operational guidance on project implementation.

Le 15 septembre 2026 à Siguiri, planetGOLD Guinée a réuni les principales parties prenantes de l’EMAPE pour restituer et enrichir l’analyse SWOT du secteur. Cette démarche participative vise à mieux orienter les interventions en faveur d’un orpaillage artisanal plus organisé, inclusif, économiquement viable et respectueux de la santé humaine et de l’environnement.

On 8 August 2026, the planetGOLD Zambia Project partnered with the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development to engage Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Miners at the Sasare Mining Site in Lusangazi District, Eastern Province on responsible mining practices, formalisation and mercury-free gold processing.

On 9 September 2026, planetGOLD Suriname and KAMPOS met with the District Commissioner of Brokopondo, Mr. Gregory van der Kamp. During the meeting, Jerrel Pinas, Engagement Specialist with planetGOLD Suriname, provided an introduction to the planetGOLD project and its efforts to promote responsible and mercury-free artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) in Suriname.
