As part of their Lake Victoria Gold Programme, they developed a handbook guiding the continuous improvement of ASMO’s along what they refer to as an Impact Escalator.

In the planetGOLD programme design, a Global Project was created to foster co-learning and collaboration across projects in the programme. The Global Project aimed to support communication, outreach and knowledge sharing with a wide range of international stakeholders engaged in improving the artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) sector. This report describes the activities, results and lessons learned from the execution of the first phase of the Global Project (2019-2025).

This report, focusing on The Philippines, provides a nuanced first-look at how stakeholders can better understand and respond to the role gold supply chains and financial flows play in formalization efforts.
