Perú está transitando hacia el uso de tecnologías limpias para procesar oro sin mercurio en varias regiones. En diciembre de 2023 se desarrolló la pasantía “De Norte a Sur”, en ella participó un grupo de mineros de Piura, quienes visitaron algunas operaciones mineras de Puno con el objetivo de intercambiar experiencias sobre el uso de plantas gravimétricas para procesar oro sin mercurio.

Peru is transitioning towards the use of clean technologies to process gold without mercury in various regions. In December 2023, the "From North to South" internship was developed, with the participation of a group of miners from Piura. They visited some mining operations in Puno with the aim of exchanging experiences on the use of gravimetric plants to process gold without mercury.
