El kit pedagógico Expedición Mercurio se ha creado con el fin de promover la reflexión sobre las causas y consecuencias de la contaminación por mercurio para evitar o sustituir el uso de este metal en la población. El kit consta de una cartilla-historieta, un afiche y un juego de mesa. En la presente guía se plantea una secuencia didáctica de tres sesiones para el trabajo con cada material que involucran actividades lúdicas que las y los participantes de los espacios de formación profundicen sobre los nuevos aprendizajes, valoren la información desde una perspectiva crítica y promuevan acciones de difusión sobre la contaminación por mercurio

“Awareness-raising strategies to avoid the use of mercury in artisanal and small-scale gold mining” is a document that systematizes and analyzes the awareness-raising activities carried out by the planetGOLD Peru project between 2020 and 2024. The document highlights lessons learned and strategies that allow for fine-tuning future initiatives linked to awareness-raising in localities where artisanal and small-scale gold mining is practiced. “Establishing financing and loan alternatives to promote the acquisition of mercury-free technologies in ASGM” organizes and reconstructs the existing information on financial inclusion in the responsible artisanal and small-scale gold mining sector in Peru, based on the experience of the planetGOLD Peru project. The publication seeks to make known the advances in financial inclusion issues within the ASGM sector to mining organizations, savings and credit cooperatives, financial institutions, civil society institutions, international cooperation, specialized technical personnel, and potential users of credits. “Design and implementation of the gender action plan of the planetGOLD Peru project” gathers the experience developed by the initiative between 2020 and 2024 to recognize the work of women in small-scale and artisanal mining in Peru. The document summarizes the process from the diagnosis findings, the work with national actors, and the roadmaps followed at the local level with women mining organizations in Arequipa, Piura, and Puno regions in Peru.
