BRI and Nexus3, in collaboration with other nongovernmental organizations, is leading this three-year project, the purpose of which is to support the Government of Indonesia in restricting mercury supplies, especially for the artisanal small-scale gold mining (ASGM) sector.

Report from the IUCN National Committee of the Netherlands (IUCN NL) looking into the world of the informal and formal mercury trade. The study was undertaken in three different continents. In the Amazon region, Bolivia, Guyana and Suriname were examined.
