Improving Access to Finance for Artisanal & Small-Scale Gold Mining

On 02 December 2020, planetGOLD organized a 2-hour webinar on access to finance in the artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) sector. Simultaneous interpretation was offered in English, French and Spanish.

Discussion during the event focused on past experiences in providing financial services to the sector, current models that are being piloted in the participating countries, and an overview of the existing barriers that hamper the attraction of formal finance and investment.
