Gender and Biodiversity: Analysis of women and gender equality considerations in National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs)

This report examines how women and gender equality considerations are included in National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs), the principal mechanisms for implementing the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) at national level. Included in this study are 254 NBSAPs from 174 countries over 23 years of implementation (1993 through May of 2016).
