El taller internacional "Experiencias exitosas sobre MAPE responsable" se realizó entre el 11 y 15 de enero del 2021 más de 30 organizaciones mineras e instituciones internacionales públicas y privadas de Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Indonesia, Honduras y Perú compartieron sus experiencias exitosas en la adopción de tecnologías limpias, así como la aplicación de mejores prácticas en la MAPE.

MIT D-Lab and Alliance for Responsible Mining English
The MIT D-Lab Inclusive Economies program and the Alliance for Responsible Mining in Colombia, joined together to launch a two-year program addressing gender-based violence affecting women engaged in artisanal and small-scale gold mining in the Antioquia region of Colombia.
The project uses an innovative movement-building approach to foster women miners’ associations and homegrown advocacy to address social and economic gender-based violence in mining communities in Andes, Zaragoza, Nechí, and El Bagre in Antioquia, Colombia.

USAID’s Commercially Viable Conflict-Free Gold Project, known locally as “Zahabu Safi” (Clean Gold), is a five-year program, implemented in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) by Global Communities and Levin Sources. The project aims to establish a responsible, commercially viable and conflict-free ASM gold supply chain from eastern DRC.
